- Drive by the property and check it out from the outside.
- Review your budget. Make sure to factor in utilities and other expenses. Only the utility companies can provide you with a monthly estimate for each property.
- Make an appointment with Austin, at least 24 hours in advance, to view the property. If you like the unit, turn in an application along with a $20 application fee, only 1 fee is required per group of prospective tenants.
- If you are approved, pay your security deposit and first month’s rent, turn in co-signer forms (one form per tenant, if applicable) and sign your lease, only one lease is expected per group of tenants.
- You will get keys to your leased property on the first day of your lease. Also, we will arrange a time to walk through the house to fill out the property inspection check in sheet. (The same property inspection will occur at the end of the lease, too.)
